Born From a Passion for Pedals
Cog & Cobble started in a small Minneapolis garage on a simple idea: a bike shop should be a hub, not a checkout. A place where every rider feels welcome and every bike is treated with the care it deserves, from a first kids’ bike to a dream build.
A bike is freedom. Our job is to make that freedom reliable, joyful, and perfectly tuned to you. That’s the Cog & Cobble promise.
Maria Flores, Founder & Head MechanicThe Service Bay
Our certified mechanics service everything (road, gravel, commuter, kids’, and e-bikes) whether you bought it here or not. Walk-ins welcome, most tune-ups back on the road within 48 hours, and we always explain what we did.

What Our Riders Say
Real words from riders who bought, fixed, and rode with us.
The team helped me find the perfect gravel bike and dialed in the fit before I left the shop. Best bike-buying experience I've ever had in the Twin Cities.

My commuter was feeling sluggish for months. Their tune-up was fast, fairly priced, and the bike feels brand new. The mechanics actually explain what they did.

I came in for a flat and left with a Saturday ride crew. It's so much more than a bike shop. It's a proper neighborhood community hub.

Built on WorkspaceCMS
Every page here is structured so Google and AI assistants can read it: rich product and local-business data, fast pages, and clean markup. When a Twin Cities rider asks “where do I get a tune-up near me,” a WorkspaceCMS site is built to be the answer.
Good Questions
No. Walk-ins are always welcome at the service bay, and quick jobs like a flat fix are usually done while you wait. For a Standard Tune-Up or an overhaul we recommend booking a drop-off slot online so your bike goes straight onto a stand.
Most tune-ups are back on the road within 48 hours. An Essential Tune-Up is often same- or next-day; a Pro Overhaul that needs parts ordered can run 5–7 days. We'll always give you a firm date at drop-off, not a guess.
Absolutely. Our mechanics work on every brand and every kind of bike: road, gravel, commuter, kids', and e-bikes. You don't have to have bought it here to have it looked after here.
Yes. Bring it by or request an appraisal online and we'll give you a fair trade-in value in store credit. Trade-ins are inspected, tuned, and resold, so your old ride keeps someone else rolling.
A full session on our fit rig with a certified fitter: rider interview, flexibility and contact-point assessment, and live adjustments to saddle, bars, and cleats measured on-screen. You leave with a fit sheet you can take to any bike you own.
The Journal
Buying guides, tune-up wisdom, and community stories from the Cog & Cobble crew.

You don't need a tune-up on a schedule. You need one when the bike tells you. Here are the five signals our mechanics wish every rider knew how to read.

Minneapolis is one of the best cycling cities in the country, and the wrong first bike can still ruin it. Here's how we help new commuters choose.

The group ride is the most underrated thing a bike shop can offer, and it has almost nothing to do with selling bikes. Here's what it's really for.
Roll in for a test ride, drop a bike at the service bay, or book online. Most tune-ups are back on the road within 48 hours.
