Our Story
Cog & Cobble started in a Minneapolis garage on a simple idea: a bike shop should be a hub, not a checkout, and every bike deserves real care.

How We Started
We started fixing friends’ bikes out of a small garage, fueled by one idea: a bike shop should be more than a store. It should be a place where riders of every level feel welcome, and where every bike is treated with the care it deserves.
Today we’re a full shop, a service bay, and a fit studio, but the idea hasn’t changed. We’re not just selling bikes; we’re building the relationships and the community that keep the Twin Cities rolling.
A bike is freedom. Our job is to make that freedom reliable, joyful, and perfectly tuned to you. That’s the Cog & Cobble promise.
Maria Flores, Founder & Head MechanicWhat We Believe
We tell you what your bike needs and what it doesn't. The easiest way to lose a rider's trust is to sell them a service they didn't need.
Road racer or first kids' bike, bought here or not. Every bike gets the same care on the same stands from the same mechanics.
We only stock bikes and gear we ride ourselves. If it isn't good enough for our own commute, it isn't on the floor.
Group rides, clinics, Learn-to-Ride days. Everything we do points at one goal: more of the Twin Cities out riding.
Roll in for a test ride, a tune-up, or just to fill your tires and talk bikes. We're open seven days a week.
